Welcome to Qodesh
Qodesh is probably a word you've not come across before. Qodesh comes from the Hebrew word "קֹדֶשׁ", which has the meanings of holiness, a holy thing (something consecrated to God), a sanctuary (used of the holy tabernacle), a most holy thing (such as the ark, offerings and holy vessels, and the innermost part of the temple). Qodesh therefore relates to the holiness and sanctity of the house of God and is therefore a type of the ecclesia, both individual ecclesias and fellowships. God’s command in both the Old and New Testaments is "Be ye holy [qadosh] for I am holy [qadosh]".
Lexicon transliteration of the Hebrew "קֹדֶשׁ" to English "qodesh".
Similarly, the Hebrew "קָדוֹשׁ" transliterated as "qadosh" means "sacred (ceremonially or morally); (as noun) God (by eminence), an angel, a saint, a sanctuary" and is usually used of individuals, although there is a small overlap in the meanings of the two Hebrew words. The brethren of Christ must therefore be holy, both individually and collectively in the ecclesias and fellowships, and undefiled by any false doctrine. If false doctrine is permitted to persist then we have no fellowship with the Father and His Son and no hope (1 John 1:5-71 John 1:5-7 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.).
www.qodesh.info has been created specifically with the intention of strengthening faith in God's word of truth in these last days of Gentile times. The site is designed for Christadelphians (brethren in Christ) in particular but we hope that it will also be of benefit to non-Christadelphians in understanding that salvation is dependant on belief and practice according to God's revealed truth in the Scriptures.
Qodesh focuses on the importance of fellowship and the holiness (separation) from apostasy and all that might defile that is required of Christadelphians. If you'd like to find out more about why Qodesh has been developed then continue by reading About Qodesh or you can just dive straight in and select your preference from the menu at the top of the page.
